Keep your mouth shut. Okay, that may sound mean, what do I mean by that? Well over the years of buying and selling homes, I can’t tell you all the craziness that I’ve seen in this industry. Make sure you let my team and I do the negotiating for you. You can’t imagine the cats that can get let out of the bag when you open that beautiful mouth of yours to talk to the buyers or buyers’ agent. You may think you’re being nice but you never know that what you may say can actually kill the deal or cost you an enormous amount of money when selling your home Bixby 74008, Jenks 74037, Kiefer 74041, Mound 74047, or Glenpool 74033.

Negotiations are another key factor when selling. So you want to hire an agent who has training in negotiations. I’m a certified negotiation expert and that means I’ve been taught extensively when it comes to negotiating. You wouldn’t believe that certain things matter when negotiating like the type of words that you say or your tone, or how quickly you answer a question. You wouldn’t know how any one of those things can drastically affect the outcome of negotiations unless you’ve had extensive training on how to properly negotiate. And the good news is that we have. So think about this. If the average agent in Oklahoma has six home transactions a year, are they really able to negotiate on your behalf to the best of their ability? Negotiating and market knowledge is one of my specialties and it assures that we can best serve and negotiate on behalf of you. It’s scary to think that someone was such little experience can be negotiating on your largest investment. The bottom line, you got to be careful. Not all agents are created equal. Just because your brother’s sister’s aunt got a real estate license a year ago and is going to be discounting their commission by a percent or two, watch out. That one to two percent of savings that you think you’re getting can cost you thousands and thousands of dollars due to lack of experience, knowledge, and know-how. It’s kind of like that awesome thing, I’ll let you fill in the blank, that you got at the discount store that seemed like such a great deal at the time and ended up falling apart and costing you such a headache. And that’s just a thing. Imagine your home sale falling apart. It’s your most valued asset. So don’t leave the biggest investment of your entire life in the hands of someone who only sells a few houses a year. Go to an expert, go to somebody who’s going to expose it to the masses who’s an expert of their game, who takes their job seriously, who does it full-time and is an experienced negotiator.
